How to freeze fresh okra from the garden. Today i am cutting up okra and getting it ready for the freezer. This is a pretty common thing at our house, because we only grow a few plants and we end up with lots of odds & ends but few big harvests. Place the okra from the ice water into a strainer and drain for two to three minutes.
